Pre-order & shipping
When does the first batch ship?
Our manufacturer is packing the first run now. We expect to ship in the estimated month listed on the pre-order section, and every pre-order customer gets an email the day their box leaves the facility. If the run slips, you hear it from us first — not from a tracking page.
Why is this a pre-order instead of just buying it?
We're an independent, family-owned brand funding our first production run without outside investors. Pre-orders reserve a box from that limited first batch specifically for you and tell us exactly how much to make.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is $5.99 on the Starter Box and free on the Double Bundle. We currently ship within the United States only.
Can I change or cancel my pre-order?
Yes. Email us any time before your box ships and we'll change the flavors, change the size, or refund you in full — no questions, no restocking fee.
Product & ingredients
Can kids drink it?
Lime & Son is formulated for the whole family, and every pack has a half-stick line for lighter pours. A half stick in 8–10 oz is a reasonable pour for kids 4–12. We're not able to give medical guidance, so please check with your pediatrician before giving any electrolyte drink to a child — and always for children under 4.
How many sticks can I have a day?
Most people have one stick a day, and some adults have two on long, hot, or high-sweat days. Everyone's needs differ, so talk to your doctor about what's right for you — especially if you're pregnant or nursing, giving it to a child, or on a sodium-restricted diet. One stick has about 480 mg of sodium.
Is Lime & Son a medical, recovery, or performance product?
No. Lime & Son is a flavored electrolyte drink mix — a dietary supplement, not a medicine. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
What makes the colors?
Real fruit and vegetable juice concentrate — dragon fruit and beet, annatto and carrot, spirulina and lime, hibiscus flower. There is no Red 40, no Blue 1, no artificial dye of any kind in this product.
What is it sweetened with?
Organic monk fruit extract, used lightly. No sugar, no sucralose, no aspartame, no stevia aftertaste.
Does it break a fast?
A stick has 5 calories and under 1 g of carbohydrate. Whether that fits your fasting routine is a personal call — we can't give medical or nutrition advice, so check with your doctor if it matters for you.
Is it third-party tested?
Yes. Every lot is screened for heavy metals, microbials and allergens by an independent lab before it ships, and it's produced in a US facility that is FDA-registered and operates under cGMP requirements. FDA registration is not an FDA endorsement or approval of this product.
Orders, gift cards & subscriptions
Can I order more than one flavor?
Yes — every flavor is its own line in your bag, and the bag has a one-tap 'make it a variety pack' rail so you can add the rest without leaving checkout.
Do gift cards work before the first batch ships?
They do. Gift cards go on sale ahead of the first run, are delivered by email as soon as payment clears, never expire, and can be redeemed at any time — before or after the first batch ships.
How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions start once the first run ships. Billing and cancellation are handled through our payment processor's customer portal, so you can pause, skip, or cancel yourself at any time with no phone call.
Do I need an account?
No. Lime & Son is guest checkout only. You'll get an emailed confirmation with everything you need — no password to remember.
